Don’t forget to have fun
I don’t know about you, but when I’m told to sit and pose in uncomfortable positions to get the “perfect” photo never feels good – and it usually doesn’t look natural. Let’s skip the awkward moments and create real memories. You’ll remember this day, so why not make it a good one?
Hi, I’m Malia
I like puppies and long walks on the beach.
Okay, but seriously. I was born just outside of Seattle and have been here ever since. I love going to concerts with my friends, going on all the beautiful hikes the PNW has to offer, and taking my dog, Atlas, on as many adventures as I can.
I’ve always loved taking photos, but it wasn’t until I was a nanny and watched the kids I nannied grow up through the photos I took of them that I really fell in love with photography. Seeing people happy and being able to capture those moments for them to remember forever is such an amazing experience!
Why elopements?
As much as I love to plan a party, the idea of having a traditional wedding totally stresses me out – I’d much rather spend the day beach combing and spending time with my partner! Coming from a huge family so planning seating charts and finding a venue to fit 200 of my closest friends and family would feel so overwhelming.
I want to help you plan a wedding day 100% you – no awkward toasts or family drama, just you, your partner, and the love you share!
My Style
My goal is to support every couple in creating an elopement day that reflects who they are as a couple, whether that’s racing go-karts, climbing a mountain, or having a picnic on the beach.
Taking photos can be a new (and maybe a little scary) thing for a lot of people, and my goal as your elopement photographer is to make it comfortable and exciting for you! Sit back, relax, and enjoy your wedding day because nothing beats those moments where you’re laughing until your stomach hurts or the glimpses of your partner that make you fall in love all over again – I’ll take care of everything else.
