It starts with your first glance, your first home, and your first pet together. Then, sometimes it turns into their first smile, their first step, and their first day of school. One day you’ll look at a sassy teenager and wonder where all those little moments went. While it may seem mundane now, those little moments are going to make up a big part of your memories.
Don’t forget to stop and take a breath
I know life is busy between work, keeping your house clean, your belly fed, and whatever else life may throw at you. It’s hard to remember to step back when you’re going at a million miles an hour. It’s important to appreciate the right now, because you can’t do it over again. Photos let you look back on your past and they can remind you what it felt like to actually be in that moment.
My Process
I was a nanny before I started doing photography, so getting kids to have fun was part of the job description. Being in childcare meant making crafts and having dance parties every day, but also dealing with the mood swings and tantrums that come along with toddlerhood – that’s why I know it’s important to be flexible with kids. Sometimes photo shoots can be overwhelming for little ones, so if I need to make silly faces and sounds or I need to be a fly on the wall, I’ll take care of the photos. All you have to do is enjoy your time together.

I’ll send you a contract to sign that outlines cost and all that business-y stuff. You’ll sign it and pay a deposit.

Together we will look for the perfect location – I can even help you with outfit inspiration!

On the day of your session we will meet up, jump in puddles, play with cars, dance to your favorite songs, and I’ll document all of it.

I have sessions from 2 hours to a whole 6 hour day. I’ll capture every little detail in your every day life while we are together. Does your family like to bake together or maybe you like to go to the farmer’s market? Maybe you’ve planned a birthday party for your toddler that you never want to forget. Let me come hang out and take photos of all those moments that you’ll always remember!

Mini Sessions
SMALLER SESSIONS, SAME BIG SMILES
My mini sessions are set only on specific days at a certain location – set by me! If you don’t have time to schedule a full session, don’t think your toddler will be able to sit through a regular session, or just want to try out my photography before scheduling a whole session, check out my mini sessions!
